Graeme Foster, P. Eng., PMP, CMC, ITIL

Managing Partner & Healthcare Practice Lead

Graeme is the founder and managing partner for GEF and is responsible for strategic direction, partnerships and business development in GEF’s Healthcare and Public Sector verticals.  The Healthcare vertical is his primary focus with a specific focus on Digital Health in the areas of Electronic Prescribing, Electronic Dispensing, Drug Information Systems and Medication Management. Graeme is a recognized expert in eHealth / Digital Health.  Across GEF’s practices, his expertise is primarily in the areas of large scale complex program management, complex Government procurement, Business Architecture and Business & Digital Transformations.  Graeme has more than 23 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors with the last 11 years primarily focused on Healthcare.

As a recognized program & project management expert, he has been invited to contribute to the 4th Edition of PMBOK (the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge) and has introduced techniques to clients with complex planning challenges, such as the use of a forecasting technique (endorsed by the APA) based on Nobel prize winning theories.  He has managed very large programs for clients (>$50MM), has advised on IT related strategy and has advised on large complex procurements and contract negotiations.

Graeme holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Management (B. Eng. Mgmt) from McMaster University, is a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) – the CMC is the consulting profession’s only international certification mark, recognized in more than 40 countries and represents a commitment to the highest standards of consulting and adherence to the ethical canons of the profession.  Less than 1 percent of all consultants have achieved this level of performance.  Graeme is also a Project Management Professional (PMP), the internationally recognized standard for Project Management excellence and is also ITIL certified in Foundations and Service Transition.  

Joe Bishouty, MBA, PMP

Partner, Consulting Services & Financial Services Lead

Joe is a dynamic, challenge driven leader with 35+ years of success in Project & Program Management, demonstrating proficiency managing transformations, from strategy to tactical deployment in Business and Information Technology (IT).

Joe is a passionate leader in driving change, business transformation, and execution excellence. Joe has the ability to foster trusting relationships at all levels, including business leaders, internal stakeholders, vendors & team members. Joe, a strategic thinker, has expertise in executing complex and innovative technology, operations and business transformations, M&A integrations, supplier management and process improvement initiatives to improve client experience, market share and operating leverage. Joe has a strong reputation for applying successful “Hands-On” Program Delivery and Execution Management practices to several transformational initiatives up to $300MM across a range of industries. In addition to serving GEF’s Business & Financials Services vertical, Joe is responsible for GEF’s Strategic Execution Practice.

Joe has a B.Sc. (Hons), Computer Science from De Montfort University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester.

James Fehrenbach

Partner, Operations & Public Sector Lead

James is responsible for resource acquisition and prospect pipeline management for GEF in addition to his responsibility for the tools and business processes GEF uses to support proposal development and business operations.

James has spent 25 years in talent acquisition with the majority of that time building, managing, measuring and delivering in-house recruiting, contract resource acquisition and vendor management for organizations spanning the country and employing from 2,000 to 20,000 people.  James developed the Golden Ratio of Recruiting and applies a principle based, structured approach to sourcing and selection that ensures our clients see only the most qualified resources.  He was an early adapter to applicant tracking systems, online job boards and the use of social media in recruiting.  He’s designed recruiting processes, implemented and optimized the tools to manage the marketing and administration of hiring across a vast assortment of functional roles in private and public sector enterprises.

James is a University of Waterloo graduate in Applied Psychology and is a Certified Predictive Index Analyst with extensive experience building and applying customized assessment and selection tools.

Lynda Covello, B.A., LL.B., LL.M.

Lynda is a multilingual international lawyer, IP strategist and business consultant with over 24 years experience in the strategic use of intellectual property assets in business, particularly healthcare, IT and biotech. She advises on IP-related business strategies, technology transfer, licensing, commercialization, monetization, international expansion and IP-related transactions globally. She is experienced in conflict resolution, relationship management and negotiation. Ms. Covello has served as both an external advisor to business and a member of executive management teams, giving her a practical and realistic perspective on the key issues and concerns facing business decision-makers.

Jeremy J. Greven, Founder and President of PromptALERT Inc.

Jeremy is founder and president of PromptALERT Inc., one of Profit Magazine’s HOT 50 technology startups for 2012 (Both 50% revenue and headcount growth, year over year).   About 20% of patients fail to show up for doctor’s appointments in the U.S.—a big hit to US based health-care providers’ revenue.  PromptALERT Inc’s primary service, Patient Prompt, cuts “no-shows“ by at least half with automated reminder emails, texts and phone calls to patients. Estimates of ROI for PromptALERT`s clients are a stratospheric 2,000% to 3,000%.  Jeremy is co-inventor and the product visionary surrounding PromptALERT services.   Prior to founding PromptALERT Inc., Jeremy held a number of senior IT positions with The Chubb Insurance Company of Canada.  Jeremy was responsible for creating and enforcing both business and technical security policies for Chubb’s global operations.  Previously, Jeremy has held the position of Senior IT Consultant for CCS Group in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Fraser Mackay, Banking & Insurance Executive

Fraser has 20 years international experience in all aspects of building and running online banking, wealth management trading platforms and mobile channels in the Financial Services industry. At CIBC, he is accountable for leading the operations and support and delivery of Internet, mobile and automated banking machine (ABM) channels for CIBC including Online Banking, Investors Edge™, Wood Gundy™ Online, President’s Choice™. His portfolio includes servicing approximately 4000 automated banking machines across Canada and 3 million active online and mobile clients. He is responsible for the strategic direction and project delivery of all CIBC internet and mobile properties. CIBC was the first Canadian Bank, under Fraser’s executive leadership, to bring a mobile banking application (for the iPhone) to market, which continues to be ranked #1 internationally by Global Finance Magazine. Fraser graduated with a BSc (Hons), Computing and Mathematics, from The University of Bolton, U.K.
